Professional experience

Silvia Pupo practices in the areas of Corporate Law and Capital Market, representing national and international clients in a wide range of transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions and IPOs.  

She has previous experience at the legal department of BSM Market Supervision (BSM Supervisão de Mercados), an organization for the self-regulation of the markets operated by B3, where she carried out administrative proceedings and other proceedings related to the Investor Compensation Mechanism (MRP). She had also held the position of secretary of the Supervisory Board, a collegiate body of BSM which is responsible for trying both administrative and MRP proceedings.   

She has also worked in a renowned Italian-Brazilian law firm, providing counseling to national and international clients in M&A transactions, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, foreign investment operations, and corporate matters. 

She is a member of the multidisciplinary team of the firm’s Startup Hub, where she provides counseling to clients on corporate, contractual, and investment matters.
