Professional experience

Helena has more than 12 years of experience in the areas of corporate law, commercial contracts, M&A, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring.

She worked as a foreign associate at Becker, Glynn, Muffly, Chassin & Hosinski LLP, a law firm based in New York, where her practice focused on corporate and contractual issues.

She provided support as a secondee to a global leader in the manufacture of ophthalmic lenses.

In addition, she worked as a summer intern at King & Spalding LLP, in Washington D.C., advising the international trade department of the law firm.

• LL.M graduate with focus in Corporate Law, from New York University School of Law (NYU) – 2018;
• LL.M in Corporate Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-Rio) – 2016;
• LL.B. Bachelor of Laws from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) – 2009.
