Professional experience

Pedro has focused his practice since 2021 on regulatory, transactional, litigation and contractual matters related to Energy Law, including legal and regulatory assessment in the generation, transmission, distribution and commercialization segments of electric power. He is experienced in the structuring of self-generation and micro and mini-distributed generation projects; drafting and reviewing of power purchase agreements; drafting of legal opinions regarding various sectorial subjects; counselling in mergers and acquisitions transactions in the context of the Electric power industry; and legal assessment over government contracts, public auctions and court and administrative proceedings.
