Professional experience

Maria Eduarda has experience in contracts and arbitration, and works mainly in the consultancy area, focusing on the drafting and negotiation of business contracts that structure various economic operations.

• Member of the mediation team that represented the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in the XII Brazilian Competition of Arbitration and Business Mediation – CAMARB – 2021;
• Member of the mediation team that represented the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul at CDRC Vienna – The IBA-VIAC Mediation & Negotiation Competition – 2022;
• Member of the arbitration team that represented Souto Correa Advogados in the XIV Brazilian Competition for Business Arbitration and Mediation – CAMARB (3rd place), having received an individual award for 2nd best speaker – 2023.
• Honorable mention in the category “Monographs, Dissertations and Theses” of the IBDiC Award (Brazilian Institute of Construction Law) – 2024, with the monograph “Allocation of geological risks in construction contracts: challenges and possibilities”
