Professional experience
Rodrigo Tellechea is a lawyer with experience in corporate law, arbitration, and restructuring and insolvency, operating both in advisory and contentious spheres, offering customized legal solutions for national and foreign companies in domestic and international operations.
With a keen eye on the specific needs of each client, Rodrigo stands out for his technical skill and business vision to navigate complex legal and business scenarios. His experience includes various economic segments, with activity in the industrial sector, financial services, and technology.
In corporate law, Rodrigo has a solid background and specialization in legal-business matters, offering comprehensive advice on negotiations and contracts for mergers and acquisitions, and in structuring corporate governance models and asset organization for companies of diverse backgrounds and segments, acting in complex and multidisciplinary transactions.
His expertise in arbitration is also recognized, as he represents clients in various disputes, always aiming to achieve efficient solutions aligned with the interests of his clients. In the area of restructuring and insolvency, Rodrigo excels in working with clients focused on developing innovative solutions for business reorganizations both in the judicial sphere (judicial recovery) and extrajudicial sphere (negotiations and extrajudicial recovery).
In addition to the activities already mentioned, Rodrigo is also a member of the multidisciplinary team of the office’s Startup Hub, specializing in advising investment funds and startups. He provides support on topics such as negotiating investment rounds, stock option plans, preparing shareholder and partner agreements, and related contracts.
Rodrigo was president of the Institute of Business Studies (IEE), the entity responsible for organizing the Freedom Forum, a highly significant event in the Brazilian business scene, recognized internationally.
Rodrigo is the author of several books that significantly contribute to the research and development of business law. His dedication to teaching is reflected in his role as a professor in postgraduate courses, where he shares his knowledge and experience with the next generation of lawyers. He is also a speaker at national and international events related to corporate law and insolvency, discussing trends and challenges of contemporary business law.

Law that reduced the quorum for approval of certain matters in limited liability companies will come into effect on October 22nd, 2022
Law No. 14,451/2022, sanctioned on September 21st, 2022, introduced significant changes regarding the deliberation quorums for the election of non-shareholder managers, the amendment to the articles of association, corporate reorganization, and dissolution of limited liability companies.
