Professional experience

Tomaz Lopes practices in the capital markets area, with wide experience in fundraising and joint venture transactions in the national and international markets.

He has been in charge of the legal departments of real estate and energy, oil and gas and infrastructure investment companies, and he has also been a partner of renowned Brazilian law firms in the capital markets area.

His practice includes advising national and international clients in securitization transactions, investment funds, and public offerings of securities, with special focus on debentures, Certificates of Real Estate Receivables (CRIs), and Real Estate Investment Funds (FIIs).

He is a member of the multidisciplinary ESG and Startup Hub teams in the firm, providing counseling to clients from many different segments, especially in investment-related matters.
