Professional experience
Paulo focuses his practice on strategic litigation and arbitration, with extensive experience in both domestic and international disputes. He represents clients in arbitration proceedings administered by leading arbitral institutions in Brazil and globally, particularly in matters involving mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate disputes, financial services, commercial contracts, construction, infrastructure, and energy.
He also has significant experience in complex court litigation, especially cases related to contractual obligations, civil liability, capital markets, investment funds, and mining.
Previously, Paulo served as an international associate at the New York office of Milbank LLP, where he was part of the litigation and arbitration team. His practice there focused on high-stakes matters before New York State and U.S. Federal Courts, as well as cross-border arbitrations involving multiple jurisdictions.
