Professional experience

With extensive experience representing national and international clients, Thabata is an expert in arbitration proceedings (both national and international), mediations, and negotiations involving complex and strategic business issues. Her focus includes, among other matters, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) operations, strategic contracts, shareholder disputes, commercial litigation, construction-related claims, and disputes with the Public Administration. She combines this practice with preventive litigation work and the negotiation and drafting of high-level complex contracts.

In addition to her solid legal practice, Thabata also has experience as an assistant to arbitrator and in monitoring activity in postgraduate-level course. Thabata has a track record of handling cases before the leading arbitration chambers in Brazil and abroad, including the ICC, CAM-CCBC, CIESP/FIESP, CAM-B3, FGV, and CAMARB.
