Professional experience
Gabriel Rache Cardozo holds a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) and participated in an academic exchange program at the University of Bonn, Germany, with a scholarship from the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD), during his undergraduate studies. He holds a postgraduate degree in Contract Law, with a focus on business and financial contracts, from the São Paulo Law School (FGV/SP).
His practice includes advising domestic and foreign clients across various sectors—including banking, energy, infrastructure, hospitality, and agribusiness—on a wide range of domestic and international transactions, particularly project financing, debt structuring and restructuring, regulatory matters involving publicly traded companies, financial institutions, and non-financial institutions, initial public offerings (IPOs), investment funds, public offerings and private placements of debt instruments (including debentures, promissory notes, and notes), structured assets such as real estate receivables certificates (CRIs) and agribusiness receivables certificates (CRAs), and other structured financial transactions.
He is part of the firm’s Venture Capital and Startups Practice Group, with a focus on technology and innovation, advising primarily startups and small businesses. He is a member of the Center for M&A Studies (CM&A), organized by the USP School of Law and the PUCRJ School of Law.
