Professional experience
Matheus Senna practices in the area of litigation at the administrative and judicial levels, with special focus on matters of corporate, contractual, consumer and regulatory law.
At the administrative level, he represents clients in relevant administrative proceedings before the Public Prosecutor’s Office (State and Federal) all over Brazil, as well as before consumer protection agencies and other administrative authorities. His practice also includes participation in hearings and negotiation of extrajudicial settlements, with the aim of resolving disputes and avoiding judicial developments.
He also works in legal proceedings, participating in the elaboration of procedural strategies, conducting proceedings, negotiating agreements, and representing clients in hearings and trials.
He is responsible for several types of demands, with a focus on public civil actions, actions to annul fines from the National Agency of Electric Energy (ANEEL), PROCONs and the Department of Consumer Protection and Defense (DPDC), as well as repossession actions and indemnification actions.
Since 2018, he has been practicing law in Brasília, representing clients in the Higher Courts – especially the Superior Court of Justice (STJ) – as well as in the Regional Court of the 1st Region and in the Court of Justice of the Federal District (TJDF).
He also works in disputes in the electricity sector, advising clients in cases involving ANEEL and assisting the other areas of the firm in tax and labor law disputes before the STJ and the Superior Labor Court (TST).

- Bachelor of Laws and Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) – 2015.
