Professional experience
Theo Silveiro has experience in both national and international arbitrations, primarily involving corporate contract disputes.
He focuses his studies particularly on civil law, with a special interest in representing cases involving Asian clients. A graduate of the Federal University of Paraná, Theo is currently pursuing his LL.M. in Chinese Civil and Business Law at 北京大学 (Peking University).
Currently, Theo is the coordinator of the Arbitration and Commercial Law Study Group at UFPR (GEAC-UFPR) for the annual CAMARB and Willem Vis Moot competitions. He also serves as the chief coordinator of the young lawyers’ branch of the Arbitration and Mediation Chamber of the Commercial Association of Paraná (ARBITAC), overseeing ARBITAC Jovem for the 2023-2025 term.
He frequently participates in professional conferences related to China and maintains a consistent interest in Asia.
Theo is also a Volunteer English Teacher at the NGO Cidadão Pró-Mundo, teaching young people and adults in socially vulnerable situations.
