Marcel é Mestre em International Business Regulation, Litigation and Arbitration pela New York University (2019), Mestre em Direito pela Universidade de São Paulo (2017) e Bacharel em Direito pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (2013), com passagem pelo Institut d’Études Politiques – SciencesPo (2012). Possui mais de uma década de experiência em arbitragens domésticas e internacionais e em contencioso cível e comercial, atuando em disputas complexas relacionadas a contratos comerciais, construção e infraestrutura, energia, seguros e resseguros, execução de sentenças arbitrais estrangeiras e obtenção de provas nos Estados Unidos (discovery) para utilização em procedimentos estrangeiros nos termos da Section 1782 do U.S. Code.

Marcel desenvolveu parte significativa de sua carreira em Nova York com foco em arbitragem internacional e contencioso perante cortes americanas, em disputas relacionadas aos Estados Unidos, à América Latina, ao Caribe e à Europa. Marcel é habilitado para exercer a advocacia em Nova York e no Brasil e é fluente em português, inglês e espanhol, além de possuir proficiência profissional em francês.
