Professional experience
Guilherme Rizzo Amaral is one of the founding partners of Souto Correa, renowned for his expertise as both counsel and arbitrator in domestic and international arbitrations, alongside his significant role in strategic court litigation. His track record from 2018 to 2022 includes membership on the commission established by the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) for the Belt and Road Initiative, a major Chinese investment program. Guilherme has been intensely dedicated to assisting Chinese clients in Brazil, offering unparalleled expertise and commitment.
Additionally, Guilherme was part of the committee that advised the Brazilian Parliament on the drafting of the New Code of Civil Procedure, contributing to the evolution of the procedural system in Brazil.

Taking another step in its international expansion strategy, Souto Correa takes its largest delegation yet to an annual IBA – International Bar Association conference.
